One of the team agreed to the return of 17 PVC corrugated panels after they were damaged by the sun prior to installation.

I was called the next day to be told they still didn't have tiles so would be next day. I informed that I wouldn't be in for that delivery and organised a new delivery slot.

Checked on the web page for new tiles and see the tiles that I had previously ordered were still listed.

After my recent experience with Wickes I would recommend buying from Homebase because in my experience their customer service and returned goods process is significantly better. Let me explain.

A week later, another Wickes employee decided that I cannot return the PVC panels after all. He claims that I may have stored the panels incorrectly because I put them outside. Surely they can be put outside!

Their change of heart coincided with me asking whether they can collect the failed PVC panels and deliver replacements because I have sold my estate car and I have no means of returning or collecting panels.

Again tiles were not delivered on that day. (That's yesterday).

Wickes do not usually answer the phone. When lucky enough to actually get through by phone I was cut off twice. When they say they will call you back they don’t.

We speak to the kitchen design team a man called James who basically was very smug n all he said was ( you should of used or fitters )

I just called the store cancelling the order. I'm told that there isn't anyone in who can cancel it! So I'm now reliant on the delivery manager being told and cancelling. I'm fully expecting that they will arrive tomorrow. (Sigh).
